      Try looking in linux/boot/bootsect.S

   Or you could try RTFM and note that when you laceup /dev/hda that you
   should do it as such: laceup -w 2 /dev/hda where -w 2 means, set my
   default boot partition to /dev/hda2. Of course this is done after
   issuing laceup /dev/hda2 wini

      That would be in linux/boot/setup.S

I tried sending this post out several weeks ago but it was stoped by a
full spool or something or other. Apparently my host saved it
