Over the last week, I have looked through the various source directories
on tsx and banjo, and downloaded all. I am in the process of compiling
all of the "ported" sources on the 96cpl2 kernel. Since a lot of these sources
haven't been changed since the compiler was gcc 1.4 and the kernel was 0.12, I
thought that attempting recompilation of all them would greatly help people
who have trouble compiling them now. So, here is my offer:
If you are attempting to compile some of the /pub/linux/sources/usr.bin
usr.bin.X11, or the various other subdirs on tsx or any other ftp sites (such
as gnu sites or contrib X11 sites) and are having problems,
e-mail me, and I will help where I can. I am keeping notes of every thing
that I do to change the sources to make them compile. So, if someone needs
help compiling, and I have worked on it or have an idea what the problem
is, I will be glad to assist.
