Hello netland, I have just brought up Linux 0.96c+ from the mcc-interim
set on sc.tamu.edu, and don't seem to be able to find /etc/Image or /vmlinux.96c+ on the (new) boot disk or the rest of the distribution tape.
Am I missing something or do I have to get the sources to make the kernel image
myself ? is it possible to retrieve the kernel from the boot disk ?

Another question that I have is regarding the fact that X11 does not seem to be
able to restore the right text mode on my monitor after exiting. I seem to
recall somebody else reporting this, but don't remember what the advice was (so
many messages have gone by !!!!).
I would really appreciate getting some help with this, as I fully intend to be
running linux on my home pc instead of Xenix, which I have been running for 3
years....
My hat's off to all the activists !! I hope to be able to contribute something
myself when everything is up and running properly.
