So far, the only way to handle marking bad blocks in a manner that Linux
read is to develop the volume first under Minix. I've tried some flailing
around with formatters and so on to no good result.
Is there at least a way to figure out which files are on which sectors? If
nothing else, I'll "cover" the blocks with a junk file.
I'll keep working with Linux but the matter of bad blocks is a serious
problem which I think needs some concerted attention from Linux wizards.
