  I'm not sure that's the best advice. The 8514 compatible cards are
supported by the X11R5 server (or at least the ones I've been using). I
assume that linux will upgrade to the current release sometime and then
the 8514 card will be supported. There are MS-windoes drivers for them
now, but I have no idea (or concern) with OS/2.
