Greetings Linux Fans!

In my attempts to get olvwm compiled & running, I noticed that I
had to define SYSV in the cc flags (ala -DSYSV). I also noticed
that other programs have various '#ifdef FOO'. My question is,
what should be defined for Linux? Are there any hard & fast rules,
or is it just a matter of looking thru the code and knowing what to
look for?

Thanks,
