I had trouble getting the files by ftp. First, my machine wouldn't
recognize the host ftp.thp.uni-koeln.de. I think it's the same as
vax.ph-cip.Uni-Koeln.DE [134.95.64.1] but ftp attempts to that host
time out, and ping looses 40% of its packets.

Could somebody get the MGR test version to the US (banjo?), or at
least somewhere I can ftp to easily. This might be worthwhile simply
because it would use less transatlantic bandwidth.
