I ended up having to repartition my disk (42Mb seagate IDE) so it used
partition 2 because it would not boot off of partition 1. I cought
this in the docs after installing the entire mcc-interim release.
I have high hopes for the new hd boot program (LILO?). I think it will
make Linux a little more accessable to new Unix users.
