There are apparently some new additions to the Linux news
group (no names) who are unfamiliar with the way in which
new features have been added to Linux.

There are, simply put, two ways this happens. One of them
is NOT belabouring the newsgroup with repeated pleas why
it should be added.

1) Mention it once, preferabley to The Grand Wizard (Linus)
and see if he is willing to implement it.

2) Implement it yourself, submit it the TGW, and see if he
is willing to add it to the distribution.

Long winded disertations on the merits of Buffer Cache,
DOS support, and the like, are best directed to other
individuals whom agree with you (and therefore may
implement it), or to your local University Doctoral Thesis
Review Committee. Not the WORLD.
