From: knapp@spot.Colorado.EDU (David Knapp) Subject: For those who have succefully installed linux on a 486... Date: Tue, 7 Jul 1992 05:28:19 GMT
I have RTFM several times now for installing LINUX. There are about 10
gazillion times where it is stated that installing LINUX is 'easy'.
Well, I, personally, am not much of a Unix, partition, FAT or otherwise-god,
so I find myself saying "What the heck..." a lot.
If one of you might be so kind as to drop me a line and explain a few of the
subtleties, I would be much obliged, and would be willing to answer your
top three questions about life, the universe and everything, in exhange
for your explaining the ins and outs of intalling Linux on my 486.
Many thanks.
