Subject: mtools does not work under 0.96c !!!

I have installed 0.96c, and (noting the missing 'ln' command) installed
mtools by makeing a copy to mdir and mcopy (for now anyhow)

/etc/mtools contains

A /dev/fd0

however mcopy a:\* . prints an error about not having enough information
about A!

I don't remember the exact error, but it completly refuses to work.
