Hi again,

I told you my problem to compile within emacs-18.58 as non-root (system
reboots) using linux-0.96bpl2 (compiled via gcc2.11c). There was a pointer
to compile linux-0.96bpl2 with gcc2.2.2 so, I got gcc2.2.2 from banjo and
recompiled linux. I tried to compile within emacs as non-root again and the
system reboots. So it seems to be a problem of linux-0.96bpl2 (or mine) not a
problem of gcc2.11c.

Again: this doesn't happen with linux-0.96b.

Ralph.
