I have tried using pcomm and kermit5A, and whatever I try, I cannot get /dev/tts2 to respond; ttsy2 is an internal 2400b modem. /dev/ttsy1 is set up for the mouse; setting the line to /dev/ttys1 responds (with mouse junk). Under dos, the serial port (com2) works fine. What am I missing???

Hardware:
 zenith 386/16DX 4MB ram, 64k cache
 everex 2400b modem.
16450 UARTS identified on ser. 1&2 at boot time
