FAS is a Freeware serial driver for commercial SysV Unices that creates
the devices named ttyFM?? and ttyF??.
The advantage I see in this concept is that the driver itself is doing
the locking of the devices for ingoing and outgoing connections.
There is no need of special applications or all applications using the
same locking method.
