Hi:

  Is there any one who has xconsole working properly. I am interested in
getting xconsole to display contents of appropriate virtual console. I am
particularly interested in the printk's output. Is this possible? if not
is it not important to make it possible.

Along the line, Does the syslogd package really work? I don't want to get a
package that does not work with a standard kernel release (like 0.99pl1)
