OK, so I installed Linux (from SLS) on my 486, and everything was
going fine, till I decided to run Elm. Suddenly, the system gave this
error thrice, before Elm died with a Seg Fault:

Dumping sense buffer: 240 0 3 0 8 189 223 10 0 0SCSI disk error : host 0 id 0 lun 0 return code = 18000000
*Sense class 7, sense error 0, extended sense 3
SCSIdisk I/O error
dev 0802, sector 60888

I'm using an extended file system on my SCSI disk. The size is roughly 350 Meg.
There is only one file system, on /dev/sda2 .

efsck gives no problems; but when I ran efsck -t, I started getting the same
error repeatedly, before I killed efsck with a ^C.

Can some knowledgable person help me?
