Subject: How to get 0.99 to boot (again)

For all those people who can't get 0.99 to boot even
with the two patches and math emulation compiled in:

I got desparate and ftp'd the a2 disk of SLS distribution
from tsx-11.mit.edu and reinstalled the first two disks
and 0.99 finally boots. Just boot from your original
a1 disk, do 'doinstall /dev/hd..' and then quit after
the second disk (it won't change any of your current
configuration,just replace the kernel binaries).

I took this as a last measure, but it works !

Martin.
