Subject: Can one combine Linux + X + WD90C30?

I know hardly anything about this stuff, but let's ask!
We are possibly buying a new 486 machine, on whose motherboard
there is a Western Digital 90C30 or 90C31 display adapter with
Paradise chips. I wonder, whether this kind of hardware would
be supported by Linux and X?
