Subject: SEAGATE ST0x + Syquest + .98p5 (SLS)

Hello all !

I am trying to getr my Syquest 5110 (88MB) running under 0.98p5 with a
Seagate ST01/ST02 SCSI-Controller. I got the newerst (?) SCSI-Drivers from
my FTP-Side (TU-Muenchen), but It doesn't work.

What I did:
- Rebuilding the Kernel with new Driverst fscsi-a7 (including Patches)
- Configuring my Controller on IRQ 5
- Shortening the 0 WS Jumper

What I get:
Linux is correctly recognizing the Controller and is able to read the
partition tabel of my Syquest. I tried to fdisk the Syquest under Linux,
what also seemed to work. But every trial to use mkfs either resulted in
rebooting, or i got the message: "done_fn() not defined", followed by "scsi
host3 timed out" twice and the mkfs went into noninteruptable sleep.

Does anyone have solved this Problem ?
