Does Linux 0.98p1 have a problem with large directories?
I've been running Cnews for a while now, but it constantly goes screwy,
especially with running 'adddirs' for the alt groups, there are alot of
them! Eventually I get the messages about 'free_block' errors etc...
is this a reported bug? I know its not the i-nodes, I have lots of them
free, over 10000.
How do you tell FSCK to ignore the harddrive bad blocks?
Do the -a and -r functions now work in FSCK?
I just got the SYSTEM-098.TAZ and the FSCK.C it had said they are not
implemented yet...anyone have a source for fsck that has them enabled?
I remember Lars mentioning that Linus has an IDE drive, which explains the
lack of features for MFM drives with bad blocks, but someone must have added
these features by now?
