Subject: [Q] Backspace Broken/different in 0.99

Has anyone else had any problems with the backspace in 0.99? I find that
it no longer works, even with terminals and with stty erase '^H' set...but
CTRL H manually works fine.
  As an example, try using TRN and 'g news.testr<-BACKSPACE' or some such
thing and see if it says can't find news group news.test^H....
 
  If anyone has any ideas? Drop a line.
 
P.S. I am using getty/uugetty 2.04 with 0.99 and all patches.
