Subject: How Do You Install SLS on a SCSI Disk with an ST01 Controller?
Date: 19 Dec 1992 13:07:35 -0600

I grabbed the package last night, and upon booting from a1, I got the
following messages:

        . . .
        scsi : 1 hosts.
          Vendor:CDC Model:94211-5 Rev:629
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 01
        sd0 at scis2, id0, lu0 :
        scsi : detected 1 SCSI disk 0 tapes 0 CD-ROM drives total.
        Memory: 6764k/8192k available (376k kernel, 384k reserved, 668k data)
        Floppy drive(s); fd0 is 1.44M, fd1 is 1.2M
        sock_init: initializing family 1 (AF_UNIX)
SCSI host 2 timed out - aborting command

then it hung and the light on the CDC disk wouldn't go off. Any ideas on how
to fix this?
