Subject: Non-SCSI tape backup (Colorado DJ20) for Linux

Dear Linuxers:
I plan to buy a Colorado tape drive and attach it to my floppy disk
drive which is connected to a IDE FD/HD controller. Has anybody done
this and does it work?

Any help will be greatly appreciated ( I do not feel like spending $250
and find out it does not work properly and then I have to return the
merchendise:-))
