Subject: Linux 0.99 broke /dev/lp0 From: cvadr021@vmsb.is.csupomona.edu Date: 15 Dec 1992 11:27:23 PST
When I try: cat foo.bar > /dev/lp0 under my newly compiled kernel (0.99
without SCSI, with tcp, minix fs only) i get nothing but lp0 timeout on all of
the virtual terminals until the job is killed.
It still works when I boot on linux0.98pl1, but not on the new kernel.
Is this a bug, or is there something that I need to to to the /dev/* files when
I recompile?
