If you can't be bothered grabbing smail (so that's where it was !)
you can just add "-fwritable-strings" to the CFLAGS def. in the Makefile for
Ed's mail prgs, and they work fine...

I snaffled the binaries out of the SLS dist - they're in a tar.Z of their own
in one of the b directories...Saves recompiling, anyway.
