I have recently purchased a 65Meg RLL drive and controller from someone
here on the net. Everything seems to work properly, except for one thing,
the person that sold me the controller did not give me any documentation
on how to configure the controller so I can use the RLL drive as my
secondary drive instead of primary (have a 340M SCSI on an UltraStor 24F).
Currently I have to pull my SCSI card to get the RLL drive to boot,
which obviously is not a viable option. I currently have the controller
in my hand and am not sure of the model. The only thing that seems to
maybe possibly be its model would maybe be 2372B?? Did Adaptec make more
then one RLL controller?
Anyway the card six jumpers that I can choose from. Or do I just
need to change the one cable from the DR1 port to the DR2 port? Anyway
if you have some idea of how I can do this I would appreciate email. Or
if you need further clarification just ask, I would really like to get
this drive up so I can setup Linux on it.
