The Company I work for makes co-processor boards for the PC and Macintosh.
The problem we had with DTK mother Boards is that their power distribution
sucks big time. So when the speed goes up or the ambient temp goes up
they tend to start to brown out on some of the bus slots. Other than that
I hear they are pretty good.
So if you move all the hard disk controller cards closer to the power input
or make sure that the HD controller is the first board that power gets to
it should be OK.
