Subject: does SLS install create Swap partition?
Date: Fri, 28 Aug 1992 18:08:50 GMT

Hi,
I have looked over the SLS installation instructions and the
15 disk set on the mit ftp site.
I see that the first steps include:

         - Create a Linux/Minix partition with "fdisk" on your hard drive
           and reboot.
         - Make a file system on the partition with "mkfs".
         - Use "doinstall /dev/PART", where PART is your partition,
           to start the installation.
           For example "doinstall /dev/hda2".

Does a swap partition get created with this type of installation?

        Thanks,

        Dan
