Well, not quite "of course." For clarification: Linux can use up to
four simultaneous serial ports on different IRQs "out of the box" with
standard AT hardware and typical serial cards. If you need more than
that, it is possible to get even more by making a few small changes
and recompiling the kernel.
So get setserial.tar.Z from tsx-11.mit.edu or from the 0.97 root disk
and fiddle with some jumpers or dip switches and go crazy.
