Firstly, kudos (!) to Linus on the great job with the .97 release. I
was grudging the upgrade (had been using .95c+) but went smooth and
was well worth it! Furthermore, upgraded to the .97 version of the root
(which saved about 4megs of disk space!) which is also much better.
Great job guys!
I am now in the process of getting the kernel to compile however I am getting
some strange results. I am using a 2M swap file (NOT partition). I get
some errors during swaps like:
rw_swap: bad swapfile
This occurs during compilation using gcc 2.2.2d with 4M RAM and 2M swap.
Any ideas? Thanks.
