    Yep. Supposedly in 3.2v4 you can turn the security all the way down to
where you don't even have shadow passwords, but I still would rather not
use SCO.

    IMHO, Linux is nearly as good as SCO right now, except perhaps for system
admin and software installation. I have to admit that I like the SYSV
"custom" program, and having something like that for Linux would be very
nice. With it, Linux could be distributed as a kernel image, a root disk
to install the bare minimum, and then "custom"-type files for the standard
utilities, gcc, X386, etc etc.
