If anyone wants to use one of these beasts under linux, it sounds like
they will have to write a new device driver. My only concern is to whether the
CDROM is designed to be accessible as a disc drive, and I am a little concerned
about what the data throughput would be and so forth. It sounds to me like the
first step would be getting the soudblaster interfaced, and then perhaps adding
the CDROM later. I would be interested in hearing someone who actually has one
of the things describe the thing in a little more detail.
